Zoom, which claims to allow users to conduct online meetings and interactions through various Internet-connected devices, has officially launched its serviceBring to Apple TV device, but users still need to use iPhone or iPad devices to shoot real-time images.
In addition, users must use the second-generation Apple TV 4K or subsequent updated models to use this service.
When using it, the iPhone or iPad also needs to install the Zoom for Home TV App to help users log in to Zoom online meetings on the TV and synchronize calendar information on the iPhone or iPad.
As for the situation where it can only be used with an iPhone or iPad, the main reason is that the Apple TV 4K itself does not have a camera function. Even if the TV it is connected to has a camera, it cannot be used in conjunction with it. Therefore, it still needs to be linked through iCloud to cooperate with the iPhone or iPad camera lens to capture the scene in which the user is located.
In addition to supporting Zoom, Apple has previously confirmed that it can use FaceTime and Webex for internal online conferencing services through the combination of Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad.
