From providing an online conferencing platform during the rise of hybrid working to subsequently improving work efficiency through AI Companion technology, Zoom's North Asia head, Liang Aibei, stated that the company will focus more on agent-based AI services, while also leveraging the Zoom service platform to assist more businesses in their digital transformation.
Liang Aibei explained that from the hybrid office model of the past few years, the market is currently paying more attention to diversified office models. In addition to continuing to provide online meeting platforms, Zoom has also set up local server nodes in Taiwan. It also uses AI Companion technology to significantly improve user work efficiency. For example, it uses artificial intelligence technology to summarize important email information or summarize the key points of meeting discussions, thereby reducing the possible waste of fragmented time when users are working, and thus completing work in a shorter time.
Compared to many companies that may be accustomed to specific cloud services and then use their work platforms, such as Google's Workspace or Microsoft's Office 365, Liang Aibei pointed out that in order to maintain the stability of diversified office forms, most companies currently choose two or more work platforms. Therefore, Zoom, which has most functions and can be connected with many third-party services, is usually the project of choice for many companies.
On the other hand, compared with the services provided by other platforms, Zoom usually offers more advantageous features, such as longer online meeting time, instant translation functions, etc., so it is more attractive and even becomes the choice of many small and medium-sized enterprises with limited budgets.
Liang Aibei believes that artificial intelligence technology will become the focus of competition in the future workplace environment. How to use artificial intelligence technology to improve work efficiency and reduce working hours will also become a project that many companies focus on. Therefore, it is expected that the services provided by Zoom will attract more companies to adopt and use them.

In response to local usage needs in Taiwan, Zoom also emphasizes continuous strengthening of security, privacy, and compliance. It has now achieved the security standards set by the Taiwanese government for overseas video conferencing software suppliers, including passing the Mobile Application Security Alliance certification and establishing a cloud data center in Taiwan to strengthen data protection and service stability.
At the same time, Zoom is also collaborating with a number of Taiwan-based clients in the manufacturing, high-tech, and education industries to support their complex cross-border operational needs. As its service platform is adopted by many small and medium-sized enterprises, it is currently actively expanding its local partner ecosystem and helping companies introduce core products such as Zoom AI Companion, Zoom Contact Center, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Events through the Zoom Up Partner Program.
