After announcing in early July that it would provide corporate users with a hardware rental service on a monthly subscription basis, Zoom also launched the Zoom For Home application solution to meet the needs of working from home, thereby helping those working from home to create a suitable office environment.
The Zoom For Home solution will integrate hardware and software to meet the full range of remote work needs. DTEN ME will be the first device to work with the Zoom for Home solution. The 27-inch all-in-one device offers three built-in smart cameras for video conferencing, an 3-microphone array, and an extremely sensitive touch display, enabling seamless content sharing, interactive whiteboarding, and collaborative annotation capabilities.
In addition to DTEN ME, the Zoom For Home application is also compatible with hardware devices from Neat or Poly, allowing users to customize the appropriate hardware solution to create a suitable work environment in their home room or living room.
All current Zoom services can be used in the Zoom for Home application, allowing users to plan meeting schedules at any time, make and receive calls, and collaborate online through sharing and annotation functions. It can also be synchronized with the user's calendar, online status, meeting-related settings or personal mobile devices.
In addition, enterprise IT administrators can manage remotely through the Admin Portal, or users can manage settings themselves.
The Zoom for Home application solution, currently in collaboration with DTEN ME, will be available for pre-order with a starting price of US$599 and will be shipped in the US market from August this year.
