Chinova Technology announced a charging infrastructure collaboration with Porsche Taiwan to promote Taiwan's electric vehicle charging ecosystem. It expects to complete five super-fast charging stations by the end of this year, and plans to increase the number to 5 to 10 stations across Taiwan within the next two years.
Chen Mingfang, Deputy Director of Sales for Taiwan at Chinova Technology, stated, "By collaborating with Porsche Taiwan on charging infrastructure, we aim to complete the construction of 2024 to 10 Supercharger stations by 12. We will also install charging stations at all Porsche dealerships in Taiwan, providing customers with comprehensive charging services and accelerating the adoption and convenience of electric vehicles in Taiwan."
Currently, Chinova Technology has cooperated with Porsche Taiwan in early November to complete the installation of two fast charging stations in Wufeng, Taichung and Puli, Nantou, respectively. The average distance between stations has been shortened to within 11 kilometers. The Chinova DD series is used, with a charging power of 150kW. In the future, it will be able to be expanded to 330kW specifications, allowing car owners to complete charging in a shorter time.
In addition, the charging station is equipped with a 21.5-inch touch screen, a convenient and intuitive operating interface, and a flexible charging gun cable management system, allowing car owners to have a more convenient charging experience.
Chinova Technology plans to add three more SuperCharger locations by the end of the year, located along National Highway 80 in Xindian District, New Taipei City, Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County, and at the Porsche Driving Center at Lihpao International Circuit. Simultaneously, Chinova Technology is developing a destination charging network, installing charging stations at Porsche dealerships in Taiwan. These stations include AC slow chargers with a maximum current of XNUMXA and DC fast chargers. The company plans to continue expanding its nationwide charging network.
