Google earlier expanded YouTube Music"hum to search" search function, allowing users to hum and find similar melodies among the more than 1 million songs included in YouTube Music.
In addition to searching by humming, users can also search for matching content through actual singing or instrumental performance. Users only need to use the search function of YouTube Music to enable the humming search function.
This feature was first tested on Android platform devices in March this year, and is now ready to be opened to all Android and iOS devices, but users must subscribe to the YouTube Music service.
You don't need to be @KidCudi to use Hum to Search. Hum a song into your Google app, and we'll identify it for you. Test it with your favorite songs, or use it to figure out the song that's been stuck in your head and find your new favorite. 🎶 pic.twitter.com/MluVNesTpE

Users can also search for specific music by dictating it, similar to Spotify's recently launched AI DJ, making it easier for users to find music that suits their listening preferences. This feature is currently in beta and is expected to be available to more YouTube Music subscribers in the coming months.
