YouTube earlierExplainIts terms for the use of artificial intelligence include that creators must clearly mark content generated by artificial intelligence, and will also delete facial or voice content used without the individual's permission.
In an earlier announcement about its responsible approach to the application of artificial intelligence technology, YouTube stated that content uploaded by creators must be marked as having been created or modified using artificial intelligence, so that viewers can clearly know that the content of the video is not real.
If a person's voice or face is used in unauthorized video content, they will have the right to request the removal of the relevant content from the video. However, Google still retains a certain degree of flexibility in this regard and not all removal requests will be accepted. For example, some cases where only the face is captured in the background or the voice is recorded accidentally will not be removed if it does not cause any impact.
Both of these features will be rolled out in the coming months.
In addition, YouTube will also assist music partners in removing content that uses artificial intelligence technology to imitate singers' singing or rapping. It is expected to be provided to specific record companies and music publishers first, and will be opened to more partners in the future.
