Since changing its brand logo in 2013, it is currently affiliated with Verizon MediaYahooEarlier, it was announced that a new brand logo design would be launched, with a new streamlined line design, and all English letters would be changed to lowercase.
The new Yahoo brand logo was designed by the American design company Pentagram. In addition to changing all the letters to lowercase, it also took the exclamation point "!" as the main visual design element, and designed the form slightly obliquely, so that the exclamation point also has the intention of a slash "/". As for the color, it still maintains the purple tone that Yahoo has used in the past.
Yahoo's service portal, email service, news, and sports channels have all been rebranded. However, while Yahoo's websites worldwide, including those in the United States, have adopted the new logo, some regions, including Taiwan and Hong Kong, still use the old logo. Japan, however, continues to use the older, more traditional logo due to its independent operation.
Yahoo announced that it will be introducing new services with the new logo, with a rollout expected to begin next year. The first service to launch alongside the new logo is Yahoo Mail, featuring a new interface.
