After Xiaomi recently announced the launch of its new foldable screen phones, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 and Xiaomi MIX Flip, in the Chinese market, it quickly announced the launch of the Xiaomi MIX Flip in the Taiwan market today (July 7). This also makes it Xiaomi's first foldable screen phone product launched in Taiwan and international markets.

Xiaomi's first vertically foldable phone, and the first Xiaomi phone with a foldable screen in the Taiwanese market.
As Xiaomi previously explained, the Xiaomi MIX Flip is not only the brand's first vertically folding phone, but it also took a lot of time to transform this type of phone from a "beautiful little useless device" into something more attractive to use, and even further "surpasses the iPhone" in user experience.

When folded, the Xiaomi MIX Flip allows for all phone functions to be performed directly through the 4.01-inch, 1.5K resolution outer screen. Not only can calls be made and answered directly in the folded state, but the 3.5-inch, 16:9 display area on the right side of the outer screen can also be used to access a variety of compatible apps. While some apps may not be compatible, it does offer increased practicality compared to similar foldable phones from other brands, and even allows for text input via a full-size keyboard.

The remaining space below the left camera lens can be used to display widgets, instant messages, and other content, making the phone resemble an early-generation "small phone" when folded. Like other brands of vertically foldable phones, Xiaomi also offers a virtual pet feature on the outer screen, allowing users to interact with the pet through touch and swipe gestures.
When there is a need for further use, the phone screen can be unfolded and the internal 6.86-inch screen with the same 1.5K resolution can be used for operation. At the same time, Xiaomi also claims that the overall performance of Xiaomi MIX Flip is comparable to that of iPhone 15 Pro. It even has better game execution efficiency, stability, and heat dissipation performance than iPhone 15 Pro, and the battery life is longer. The whole machine weighs 192 grams.

In terms of hardware specifications, Xiaomi MIX Flip also uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Taiwan sales version provides 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage capacity. In addition, the battery capacity uses a 14mAh battery capacity that is larger than that of Xiaomi 4780. It also supports 67W wired fast charging and can almost correspond to a battery life of 1.47 days.

Xiaomi also emphasized that the Mi MIX Flip can be used for selfie photography when folded. With its ability to hover freely between 45 and 120 degrees, it can be used for upward and downward shots, group photos, and even for shooting with other placement platforms or hanging methods. Like other vertical folding phones, it can also record videos as a handheld camera, and even automatically add beauty effects during video shooting.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip sold in Taiwan is available in black and purple. It does not include the more special Phoenix Feather Fiber version with a woven fiber outer fabric, nor the white model. The suggested retail price is NT$29999. Pre-orders will be available from July 7th to August 26st. It also comes with a two-year warranty, an international warranty, a six-month screen breakage warranty, one airport VIP service, a three-month YouTube Premium membership, and free labor fees for the first out-of-warranty repair in the first year. In addition, it comes with a convertible protective case accessory and a Xiaomi scale 8. In addition to Xiaomi's online store and physical channels, sales channels also include ETmall, Far EasTone friDay Shopping, momo Shopping Network, PChome 1h Shopping, Shopee Mall, and Senao Life.

A number of Xiaomi wearable devices and screen accessories have been launched in Taiwan.
In conjunction with the Xiaomi MIX Flip, Xiaomi also launched a number of wearable devices, including the Xiaomi Mi Band 9, the Xiaomi Buds 5 true wireless earphones, the Xiaomi open-ear headphones, and the Xiaomi Mini LED gaming screen G Pro 27i.
Among them, the Xiaomi Mi Band 9 corresponds to 20 vibration modes, can correspond to 25 usage scenarios, supports more than 150 sports recording functions, and is 5ATM waterproof. The battery life can reach 21 days. It also has a variety of wristband accessories. The main body is made of metal to improve durability. It is available in midnight black, glacier silver, rose pink, and arctic blue colors, and different wristband accessories are launched simultaneously. The suggested retail price is NT$995 and it is expected to be available for sale in the Taiwan market from now on.

The Xiaomi Buds 5 adopts a semi-in-ear design, with each earphone weighing only 4.2 grams. It complies with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound design, supports active noise reduction, spatial audio and gesture operation, and is also equipped with dual magnetic sound units and aptX Lossless technology. The earphones themselves are IP54 dust and water resistant, and the battery capacity can correspond to 6.5 hours of use time, which can be extended to about 39 hours with the charging box.
In addition, Xiaomi Buds 5 also supports independent recording mode by triple-clicking the earphones, which can transfer the recorded content to the mobile phone. When used with an iPhone, it can make up for the "regret" that the call recording function has not been available for a long time. As for the launch time, it will be available in the Taiwan market from now on. The memory price is NT$2995 and the early bird price is NT$2695. It is available in three colors: graphite black, ceramic white and Titan gray.

The Xiaomi open earphones are worn in the form of ear hooks and are made of ergonomic, skin-friendly materials. The earphones weigh only 9.5 grams and are made of flexible nickel-titanium alloy wire. They have passed more than 5000 bending tests to provide a highly fit-to-the-ear fit. They support Hi-Fi high-fidelity sound quality and LHDC Bluetooth high-resolution decoding technology, providing sound quality output performance of up to 96kHz, and are Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. They also support IP54 dust and water resistance, and can ensure the privacy and security of content during calls. They will also be available for sale in the Taiwan market from now on, with a suggested retail price of NT$2995.

Separately, Xiaomi also announced the launch of its new Xiaomi Mini LED gaming monitor, the G Pro 27i, in the Taiwanese market. Using Mini LED display panel technology, it offers more accurate brightness control, with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It also complies with the HDR1000 standard, boasting a 2K resolution and 180Hz refresh rate, with a display response speed of less than 1 millisecond. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology to prevent screen tearing. The suggested retail price is NT$9995.
