Xiaomi's second-generation TV stick improves the output image quality to 4K resolution specifications and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ high dynamic range imaging technologies. In terms of audio, it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X stereo surround sound, further enhancing the immersive home audio and video experience.
The new TV stick is equipped with an upgraded chipset, which improves the overall performance by 80% in general use scenarios. It is equipped with 2GB of memory and 8GB of storage capacity, supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless connection, and can provide more stable streaming performance. As for the TV stick itself, it still maintains a lightweight design and can be directly connected to the TV via HDMI and powered by USB.
The new Google TV operating system provides a more modern interface design and is optimized for content recommendations and user habits. It also integrates video services from more platforms, allowing users to more easily find their favorite dramas, movies and applications.
The new TV stick will be sold in certain international markets with a suggested retail price of US$65. Xiaomi has not yet announced whether this TV stick will be launched in the Taiwanese market.
