Xiaomi earlier confirmed that it will hold the Xiaomi Auto Technology Conference in Beijing at 12 pm on December 28. Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun revealed that the conference will only focus on technical descriptions and will not announce product launch news.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun will be the keynote speaker, and the pre-order price may also be announced. However, Xiaomi later clarified that the event schedule has not yet been confirmed.
The announcement of a press conference is obviously to respond to market expectations, but the actual launch time of Xiaomi's automotive products will still be scheduled for the first half of 2024, and this press conference will only focus on technical content.
Earlier, documents from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed the actual appearance and model names of Xiaomi's upcoming electric vehicles, which will be called the SU7 and SU7 Pro/Max. The two vehicles measure 4997 x 1963 x 1455mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and 4997 x 1963 x 1440mm in height. Both have a 3000mm wheelbase and feature a panoramic sunroof. Optional LiDAR, various wheel sizes, and caliper colors are available. The SU7 Pro/Max models also feature a three-stage adjustable electric rear spoiler.
The SU7 utilizes lithium iron phosphate batteries supplied by Xiangyang Fudi and features ABS braking system components from Bosch. The SU7 and SU7 Pro/Max utilize ternary lithium-ion batteries from CATL and also utilize ABS braking system components from Bosch. The SU7's motor has a peak power of 220kW and a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour, while the SU7 Pro/Max's motors have peak power of 220kW and 275kW, respectively, and a top speed of 265 kilometers per hour.
As for the vehicle's appearance, it seems to be designed by a former BMW iX series designer and assembled and manufactured at Xiaomi's smart factory in Yizhuang, Beijing. It is expected to be officially launched in the first half of 2024, and it will use self-developed chips and in-vehicle system architecture.
