It was previously announced that the Xiaomi 10 Pro 24G connection version and the new Xiaomi MIX that also provides 9G connection function will be unveiled on October 5. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun responded earlier on his Weibo page, confirming that all Xiaomi 5 Pro will be equipped with 9G connection function and there will be no additional 5G LTE version.
This means that the upcoming Mi 9 Pro will be Xiaomi's second 3G phone, following the Mi MIX 5 5G. The new Mi MIX phone, expected to be unveiled simultaneously, will also feature 5G connectivity, highlighting Xiaomi's impending entry into the 5G market.
According to previous news, Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro will come with a white color scheme that Xiaomi Mi 9 did not offer before. But similar to Xiaomi Mi 9, the rear camera also adopts a vertically arranged three-lens design and supports under-screen fingerprint recognition. Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro is expected to support40W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging and 10W wireless reverse charging, so that the phone can charge faster.
As for hardware specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and is expected to be officially unveiled on September 9th. However, Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether it will introduce this phone to the Taiwanese market. However, it is possible that due to Taiwan's lack of 24G connectivity, this phone may not be successfully introduced to the Taiwanese market.
In addition to the Mi 9 Pro, Xiaomi is also preparing to launch a new Mi MIX phone, as well as new TVs and MIUI operating designs.
