"X", formerly known as Twitter, appears to be testing a new feature that will allow users to limit web links in reply posts, preventing malicious people from promoting specific content through other people's high-reach posts, or even conducting link click fraud.
Christopher Stanley, senior director of security engineering at "X", confirmed this feature in a related reply, saying that it is mainly intended to prevent the impact of spam posting robots. It can also reduce the number of users who use posts with high views and frequent interactions to promote specific content.
On the other hand, many phishing websites have begun posting malicious links in the replies to the "X" posts with higher reach, thereby defrauding personal information and money. Therefore, the "X" function can also help users prevent their personal posts from becoming phishing scam platforms.

Recently, users discovered details through the code teardown of the iOS version of the "X" app, including a set of buttons with a "broken heart" image, which seems to be a new feature that "X" will add. In the operation function, users seem to be able to quote specific posts and further express "dislike", but it is currently impossible to confirm whether "X" plans to make "dislike" an official feature option.
