As previously rumored"X" has added an advanced plan called Premium+ to its subscription service, which will remove all ads and be subscribed for $16 per month. It has also launched a basic plan called Basic, which will be subscribed for $3 per month.
Compared to the Premium+ plan, which costs $16 per month and provides an ad-free experience, the Basic plan costs only $3 per month, but does not include the blue certification mark and revenue sharing. However, it provides additional tweet editing, long post content and video download functions, and also supports encrypted private messaging.
The existing Premium plan remains priced at $8 per month, and the addition of two new plans is clearly intended to increase "X" profit opportunities. However, the new plans are only available through the website and are not available within the app, perhaps to avoid additional platform fees from Apple or Google.
After Elon Musk took over Twitter and renamed it "X", he made a number of service adjustments, mainly hoping to achieve higher revenue conversion through traffic, and also hoping to allow advertising volume to continue to return to its previous state.
