Swedish home appliance brand Electrolux showcased its "human-centered innovation" philosophy at IFA 2025, launching a variety of new products focused on home cleaning and healthy eating. From floor mopping and air purifiers to smart kitchen appliances, these products comprehensively address the modern family's needs for comfort, convenience, and sustainability, offering a futuristic and intelligent lifestyle solution.
The core thinking of humanistic innovation
Alejandro Cidon, Senior Vice President of Electrolux Group's Small Appliances Business Unit in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said at the exhibition that these new products reflect the brand's commitment to combining cutting-edge technology with sustainable design. The purpose is not only to simplify the cleaning or cooking process, but also to improve the overall quality of life so that every family can enjoy a clean, comfortable and healthy environment.
Comprehensively upgraded wet mopping cleaning solution
The newly launched 900 Series Cordless Wet Mop Vacuum Cleaner features flagship specifications, offering powerful suction, a new AllFloor Power nozzle, and a compatible, multi-functional automatic dust collection tower, allowing users to perform touchless dust collection, charging, and filter cleaning. Designed to meet the needs of diverse households, it comes in a standard version and an advanced model with an automatic dust collection tower. It is expected to launch first in the European market in March 2026.
The 700 series cordless wet mop vacuum cleaner features a lightweight body (only 1.35 kg) and long battery life. It also has an intelligent sensing mode that can automatically identify floor materials. It is equipped with an LED narrow polished roller brush head, which can take into account both cleaning efficiency and floor maintenance needs. It is also equipped with an anti-allergic automatic dust collection tower, which can make daily cleaning more convenient.
Also featured is an AI automatic dust collection sweeping and mopping robot, which has a powerful suction power of 7000 Pa and precise AI navigation. It can avoid obstacles and maintain efficient cleaning. The mop is automatically cleaned, hydrated and dust collected, allowing users to truly achieve "zero effort".
Guardian of healthy air
In addition to floor cleaning, Electrolux has also launched the new Pure 900 series of cool air humidifiers for "air quality", which integrates purification, humidification and fan functions at one time, targeting large space usage scenarios.
Designed specifically for pet owners, the Extreme Home 500 Pet Allergy Air Purifier utilizes a five-stage HEPA filtration system and a dedicated deodorizing filter to effectively filter out hair, dander, and odors. The washable pet filter captures up to 95% of residual hair, meeting the needs of nearly 10% of pet owners worldwide. It is expected to officially launch in Taiwan in October of this year.
A new revolution in the kitchen: smarter, healthier ways to cook
In terms of kitchen appliances, Electrolux introduced the 800 Series 4-in-1 Steam Fryer, which emphasizes the use of steam to preserve nutrients in ingredients. It can preserve up to 90% of the vitamin C in vegetables and reduce oil consumption by up to 90% while maintaining the flavor of the food. Electrolux also launched a 12-liter air fryer oven and a 700 Series healthy air fryer, respectively meeting the needs of large groups and small families for quick cooking.
