Wikipedia is currently one of the top ten most popular websites globally, boasting over 300 languages, 6500 million articles, and 150 billion monthly pageviews. However, in the AI era, an increasing number of users are directly accessing answers through ChatGPT or Perplexity instead of clicking through to Wikipedia entries, thus still consuming significant bandwidth for Wikipedia.Impact.
