Western Digital announced the introduction of itsSanDisk Professional brandThe new desktop hard drive solutions include SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE PROJECT, SanDisk Professional G-RAID MIRROR, and SanDisk PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type B memory cards.
Among them, the SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE PROJECT adopts the Thunderbolt 3 interface design and is equipped with a 7200-rpm Ultrastar enterprise-class hard drive, providing up to 22TB of storage capacity and 260MB/s read and write performance.
The SanDisk Professional G-RAID MIRROR offers up to 44TB of backup capacity, and can handle high workloads with 7200 rpm Ultrastar enterprise-class hard drives. It can choose to back up stored data in RAID 0, RAID 1, and other formats, and can support quick uninstallation, copying, and other operations through the PRO-BLADE SSD Mag slot interface.
The SanDisk PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type B memory card offers a minimum sustained write speed of 1400MB/s, enabling it to capture 8K video content. It can also withstand a drop from a vertical distance of 1 meter and a crushing force of up to 50 Newtons (approximately 5.1 kg). It is also compatible with devices such as the PRO-READER and PRO-DOCK 4 card readers.
The SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE PROJECT offers a starting capacity of 6TB with a suggested retail price of NT$13980, and a maximum capacity of 22TB with a suggested retail price of NT$32980. The SanDisk Professional G-RAID MIRROR offers a starting capacity of 12TB with a suggested retail price of NT$24980, and a maximum capacity of 44TB with a suggested retail price of NT$62980. Both are available in Taiwan from now on.
As for the SanDisk PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type B memory card, it offers 32GB and 64GB storage capacities, with a suggested retail price of NT$18980 and NT$31980 respectively, and is expected to be available in the fall of this year.
