Squarespace, which provides website building tools, web hosting and blog platform services, earlierAnnounceIt will take over all assets of Google Domains, and the approximately 1000 million domain names previously applied for and used through Google Domains will be transferred to Squarespace services in the future.
Squarespace said it will assist current Google Domains service users in seamlessly migrating and claims to provide similar services. However, it is not yet certain whether this will include items such as Google Domains' previous guarantee of unchanged domain usage prices. However, it is expected that Squarespace will provide more incentives to attract existing Google Domains users to stay.
In a related statement, Squarespace emphasized that it will continue to assist existing users in purchasing domains from Google, and will also continue to assist users in obtaining Workspace paid subscription service resources so that the rights of current users will not be affected.
