Volkswagen Hotel & Residences held its VanLife Carnival event today (November 11th) at Taipei 10 Water Dance Plaza. In addition to showcasing various generations of T-series vans, the event also showcased the ID. Buzz, a pure electric vehicle officially introduced by Volkswagen Hotel & Residences. The event also announced that reservations will be open through the Volkswagen Hotel & Residences My eVanLife app starting today, and revealed that a long-wheelbase version will be introduced later.

The VanLife Carnival held in Taiwan showcased a series of van models, including the T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, and T7. The ID. Buzz, a pure electric vehicle previously introduced by local businesses, has also been confirmed to be officially introduced by Volkswagen Hotel Taiwan. Reservations will be accepted through the Volkswagen Hotel My eVanLife app and are expected to be officially launched in Taiwan next year.
The event will also include a classic car display area, a VanLife exclusive display area, a German food area, a parent-child interactive experience area, a creative handmade selection area, an ID. Buzz VR virtual reality experience area, and Taiwan's first mobile photo bus built by T3, allowing visitors to experience the scene. On weekends and holidays, the powerful singer "?te坏特" has been specially invited to perform on the evening of November 11, and on November 11, the all-round artist Ma Nianxian will take over the performance.
Volkswagen Travel stated that the development of the T-series vans began with the hand-drawn sketch of the first dream van in 1947, and now, with the ID. Buzz, it has begun the development of the all-electric van. With the growing camping trend in Taiwan, Volkswagen Travel anticipates that its California camper van series, which embodies the vanlife lifestyle, including the T6.1 California and Caddy California models, will cumulatively sell nearly 500 units in the Taiwanese market this year.

Regarding the ID. Buzz, which will enter the all-electric era, Volkswagen Business Travel stated that this model combines classic design with modern technology, inheriting the appearance of the T1 van as design inspiration and incorporating the Volkswagen Group's latest MEB vehicle platform. Combined with diverse and practical space functions, it is expected to promote EVanLife lifestyle applications. In the future, it is expected that a long-wheelbase version will be introduced in response to market demand.
