VMware has relocated from Taipei 101 to its new office on the 38th floor of Taipei's Nanshan Plaza. VMware stated that the Nanshan Plaza, built to international standards and centered around innovative green architecture, perfectly aligns with its commitment to promoting innovation and environmental sustainability. VMware also stated that by establishing a presence in Taipei's Nanshan Plaza, it will collaborate closely with local partners to promote digital transformation and help more businesses embrace cross-cloud development.

At VMworld 2019 this year, VMware emphasized its cross-cloud development strategy and open source integrated application direction. Recently, VMware has continued to maintain in-depth cooperation with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, and IBM, and even announced earlier that it would integrate with Oracle's cloud services. VMware expects to use its virtualization technology to promote a larger-scale cross-cloud integration development model. VMware will also expand its embrace of the Kubernetes architecture through the newly launched product portfolio VMware Tanzu to connect to more application development.
VMware Tanzu incorporates the technical resources of previously acquired Bitnami and Pivotal to create a new architecture, allowing existing vSphere environments to natively run Kubernetes-based application services. It also enables Tanzu to manage multiple operational tasks, thereby responding to the rapid changes in decision-making and the development of multi-cloud platforms associated with current digital transformation. Through deep integration with the Kubernetes architecture, it can also embrace more development opportunities in an open source form.
And as announced at VMWorld 2019 this yearTech for GoodVMware's sustainable development goals emphasize growing together with partners. In Taiwan, VMware continues to embrace Kubernetes, cross-cloud, and open source development strategies, and is collaborating with the Taipei chapter of the international organization "Women Who Code" to promote a series of cloud and open source-focused activities.
Through this collaboration, we hope to encourage women to actively participate in learning about technological trends and new knowledge. This will not only enhance their workplace competitiveness but also influence the next generation's technological education. VMware also emphasizes its corporate culture and values of diversity and inclusion, and emphasizes that fully respecting individual differences is the only way to fully tap into personal potential, continuously stimulate innovation, and promote growth.
Guo Zunhua, VMware's Global Vice President and President of Greater China, said, "In recent years, VMware Taiwan has actively helped customers build cloud-centric infrastructure and actively supported partners and customers in their cloud migration. Cloud and open source are VMware's future development priorities, and we are optimistic about VMware Taiwan reaching new heights."
VMware Taiwan General Manager Chen Xuezhi said, "VMware Taiwan's efforts over the years have been fully recognized by partners and customers. VMware Taiwan's new office space is more suitable for hosting educational training, seminars, and creative activities, which will help strengthen communication with all parties. Looking forward, the Taiwan team will strive to help customers keep pace with enterprise IT trends and explore potential business opportunities."
VMware's new office on the 38th floor of Taipei's Nanshan Plaza features numerous "Star Wars" elements, including a life-sized Darth Vader statue, conference rooms named after the Millennium Falcon, and even a Darth Vader head above the office refrigerator.
