vivo officially unveiled its new flagship smartphone series, the X300 series, at the Shanghai Stadium. Not only is it the world's first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship processor, it also incorporates vivo's in-house developed imaging chip V3+ and a 2-megapixel APO super telephoto lens, a collaboration with Zeiss, to embody the design concept of "far beyond what you see."

The models launched this time are divided into X300 Pro and X300. Both are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship processor and integrated with vivo's self-developed imaging chip V3+. In addition, they also use 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, support 0.1-120Hz dynamic adjustment of the picture refresh rate, and correspond to the AMOLED 1.5K screen with 4500nits brightness performance. The operating system uses OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

The difference between the two is that the X300 Pro uses a 6.78-inch screen, the body dimensions are 161.98 x 75.48 x 7.99mm, and it weighs 225 grams, while the X300 uses a 6.31-inch screen, the body dimensions are 150.57 x 71.92 x 7.95mm, and it weighs 190 grams. The battery capacity is designed to be 6510mAh and 6040mAh respectively. Both support 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless flash charging.
In terms of specifications, both phones are IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant. Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, OTG, NFC and eSIM functions. They also support 5G+5G dual SIM dual standby and 3D ultrasonic single-point fingerprint recognition.

On the other hand, the new OriginOS 6 operating interface also integrates more AI application functions, allowing users to use AI technology to let their phones anticipate the next to-do items that need to be completed, or speed up the efficiency of collaboration with other devices.
The operating system emphasizes the reconstruction of the system experience with the "Blue River Smooth Engine". Through underlying technologies such as super-core computing, dual-rendering architecture and photon storage, it has obtained the "5-year full-scene heavy use lasting smoothness" dual certification from SGS and TUV Rheinland Laboratory, and boasts of achieving ecological interconnection with Apple devices, transforming hardware potential into a long-lasting, stable and smooth daily use experience.

Collaborating closely with MediaTek to create the Dimensity 9500 computing platform, improving overall execution efficiency and battery life
Vivo emphasizes that through in-depth joint research with MediaTek and the newly optimized "Super-Efficient Image NPU" architecture in the Dimensity 9500 processor, motion tracking, dynamic image shooting, and real-time AI calculations can be completed smoothly. It also boasts that its AnTuTu score at room temperature has exceeded 410 million points, demonstrating its flagship performance. It can also achieve improved application execution efficiency and responsiveness through software and hardware integration, while also significantly extending overall battery life.
Vivo also explained that in addition to collaborating with MediaTek on the Dimensity 9500 processor, it has also integrated its Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, and by opening access rights, it will allow more companies using the Dimensity 9500 processor to use it. This means that other brands that also build mobile phones based on the Dimensity 9500 processor will be able to improve camera shooting performance by leveraging the V3+ imaging chip built into the Dimensity 9500 processor.

As for the camera shooting performance, the X300 Pro boasts that the Dimensity 9500 processor's super-efficient imaging NPU, self-developed blueprint algorithm and focus tracking engine enable it to achieve millisecond-level motion tracking and shutter response, and a 200% increase in focus tracking stability, making it easy to capture 480mm telephoto shots in scenes such as stage and events.
The X300 continues its Pro-level imaging capabilities, bringing a high-end shooting experience to users who prefer a compact body. The main lens uses the same photosensitive element as the X300 Pro telephoto lens, supporting "shoot first, compose later" and AI movie storyboarding functions, allowing users to easily create diverse images.

vivo also explained that through a comprehensive algorithm upgrade, portrait photography has been upgraded from "clear shots" to "beautiful shots with a sense of story." Still portraits offer a variety of aesthetic styles and AI-customized beauty. Dynamic portraits have added a Live Photo pedestrian removal function, and night portraits can more accurately separate people and backgrounds. Combined with a full-focus zoom flash, electronic softbox and creative mode, travel photography and night scene performance are comprehensively improved.
Front and rear Zeiss lens systems, both of which can extend the shooting distance through teleconverters

The X300 uses a 2-megapixel HPB sensor developed in collaboration with Samsung, and a Zeiss ultra-clear main lens with an f/1.68 aperture. It is paired with a 5000-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto lens with a Sony IMX885 sensor and an f/2.57 aperture, and a 5000-megapixel Zeiss ultra-wide-angle lens with a JN1 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. It also has a dual-focal-length zoom flash, but lacks an independent imaging chip. Its maximum zoom capability is also 100x.
Both the X300 and X300 Pro feature a front-facing camera that utilizes a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, and complies with Zeiss technical specifications. This marks the first time an X series flagship phone has adopted a 5000-megapixel front-facing camera, enabling a 92-degree field of view and 4K resolution. Together with the main rear camera, both front and back cameras utilize Zeiss lens technology.

In addition, vivo has also launched a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter for the X300 and X300 Pro, which meets the Zeiss APO color reproduction specifications and CIPA 4.5 level anti-vibration, and provides a distance-increasing effect for the mobile phone telephoto lens, thereby achieving a long-distance optical shooting effect with an equivalent focal length of up to 400mm.

Compared with the original "Pro mini", the X300 Pro is positioned to provide a more complete and advanced shooting experience.
vivo said that the X300 is positioned as a small-sized "imaging king", and compared with the original X200 Pro mini product positioning, the X300 Pro is positioned to become the "imaging king", boasting to be built with higher imaging specifications.
