vivo product manager Han Boxiao was earlierWeiboannounced that it will officially launch its virtual vision head-mounted device vivo Vision, and related news also revealed that this device will be equipped with Qualcomm 4nm process processor (expected to beSnapdragon XR2+Gen 2 computing platform), and the suggested retail price is expected to be less than RMB 2, which is approximately NT$84000.

Vivo Vision, powered by a Qualcomm processor, will officially launch on August 8st and will compete with Apple in the high-end virtual reality headset market.

At the end of last year, vivo announced that future imaging technology applications will develop towards security, 3D imaging, and XR technology applications, and announced that it will launchVirtual reality headset, and was displayed at the Boao Forum for Asia held in Hainan in late March this year.

Han Boxiao explained that the vivo Vision, scheduled to be officially unveiled on August 8st, features a lightweight design, roughly the same weight as Apple's AirPods Max. It offers an immersive virtual reality experience and boasts a premium aesthetic. Furthermore, reports indicate that the headset will utilize a Qualcomm 21nm processor and integrate a highly interactive experience and content ecosystem, aiming to compete with Apple's Vision Pro.

However, some analysts predict that the vivo Vision's actual market price will be quite high, considering its numerous hardware specifications and designs. However, some also predict that the price of this virtual reality headset will still be more affordable than the Vision Pro, potentially around RMB 2, or even higher.

Looking at the current market development of virtual reality headsets, Meta continues to actively enter the market, Apple has also entered the competition with the Vision Pro, and a number of companies have also entered the Chinese market. However, it has yet to become a mainstream application technology. With Vivo's planned official launch of its virtual reality headset, it remains to be seen whether its design will drive the development of various technical applications.

Vivo Vision, powered by a Qualcomm processor, will officially launch on August 8st and will compete with Apple in the high-end virtual reality headset market.
