Vivo has confirmed its withdrawal from the MWC 2020 exhibition, becoming the first Chinese company to completely withdraw from the MWC 2020 exhibition. This may also affect other Chinese companies participating in the exhibition.
However, industry players including ZTE, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and TCL have all stated that they will maintain their original exhibition plans, and only some companies have confirmed the cancellation of press conferences during the exhibition.
Other exhibitors, including LG, Ericsson, NVIDIA, Amazon, Sony Mobile, and MediaTek, which earlier confirmed its withdrawal from the exhibition, have all stated that they are canceling their participation due to the impact of the new coronavirus. Intel was also reportedly canceled its MWC 2020 press conference and exhibition activities, and NTT has also canceled its participation.
Samsung has not yet revealed whether it will withdraw from the exhibition, but it may make a decision at the upcoming Unpacked 2020 event.
