vivo announced today (9/26) the launch of the new V29 5G series smart portrait flagship phone in Taiwan, which is also equipped with a cold and warm soft light ring to correspond to shooting soft light portraits with variable color temperature.
The V29 5G series includes the V778 29G equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G and the V695e 29G equipped with Snapdragon 5 processor. The suggested retail price of the former starts at NT$16990 and is available for sale from now on. The suggested retail price of the latter is NT$11. The specific price has not yet been announced and is expected to go on sale on November 1.
In terms of specifications, the V29 5G uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260, is equipped with 12GB of memory, and 256GB or 512GB of storage capacity. The battery is 4600mAh and supports 80W wired fast charging. The colors are provided in three colors according to the specifications: Mountain Blue, Starry Purple, and Sky Black. The operating system uses the Funtouch OS 13 customized interface based on Android 13.
The cameras are equipped with 5000-megapixel video lenses, and the main cameras on the back are equipped with 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens, 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and 200-megapixel black and white lens.
The V29e 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. It's available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations, a 4800mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging, and Glacier Blue and Forest Black color options. The camera setup includes a 5000MP video sensor, a 6400MP wide-angle lens, and an 800MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Both phones are equipped with a cool and warm soft light ring design, which makes the luminous area reach 20 times that of ordinary flash, thereby corresponding to a more three-dimensional and natural lighting effect. The 360-degree uniform lighting reduces facial shadows while ensuring harmonious and uniform color temperature. The color temperature can be switched between 1800K-4500K or adjusted through scene recognition.
