vivo earlier announced the update of two new models, S30 and S30 Pro mini, and added four color schemes including pink, cyan, yellow and black. The S30 Pro mini also adopts a metal frame design and IP68/69 dust and water resistance design.
In terms of hardware specifications, the S30 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a 6.67-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and offers 12GB or 16GB of memory, as well as 256GB or 512GB of storage capacity. The battery uses a 6500mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. The camera uses a 5000-megapixel video lens, and also uses a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization design and a Sony IMX921 sensor, paired with an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom and 5000 megapixels.
The S30 Pro mini uses a 6.31-inch screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. The rest of the specifications are roughly the same as the S30, but the wide-angle lens's photosensitive element is replaced with a Sony LYT-700V. The rest of the specifications are the same as the S30.
The suggested retail price of S30 starts at RMB 2699, while the suggested retail price of S30 Pro mini starts at RMB 3499. Pre-orders are currently open in the Chinese market. It is not certain whether an international version will be launched.
