Valve has confirmed its partnership with Komodo, which previously helped sell the virtual reality headset Valve Index in the Japanese market. The company plans to sell the headset, announced last July, in Asian markets including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.Steam Deck, a handheld Windows gaming device, and is expected to be shipped by the end of this year.
In addition to collaborating with Valve on hardware sales, Komodo is further collaborating with Valve on the development and distribution of games for the Steam platform. Komodo plans to showcase the Steam Deck and its first in-house developed game at the upcoming BitSummit in Kyoto, Japan, and the Tokyo Game Show in September.
