Ubisoft announced that it will once again deepen its cooperation with Netflix, including creating three exclusive mobile games for Netflix starting in 2023.
At the Ubisoft Forward conference, Ubisoft announced that these three games will be based on the universes of "Valian Hearts", "The Mighty Quest" and "Assassin's Creed", and will be exclusively produced in cooperation with Netflix on mobile platforms. They will be available free of charge to global Netflix subscription members and will not contain any advertisements or in-app purchases.
The new "Valian Hearts" game is the sequel to Ubisoft's previously released "Valian Hearts: The Great War". It will not only be directed by the original core team, but will also retain the same game elements while bringing a brand new story. It is expected to be available for Netflix subscribers to play in January 2023.
Following the acclaimed Castle Heist mobile game, The Mighty Quest will be coming to Netflix in 2023 with a brand new game. This time, the game will draw inspiration from the Roguelike genre with randomly generated levels, providing a unique experience and offering a fresh and replayable way to play.
In addition, in addition to the previously produced "Assassin's Creed" live-action series, Ubisoft and Netflix will also work together to create an original game in the "Assassin's Creed" universe.
“As we continue to create amazing experiences across all platforms, we’re thrilled to be working with an innovative and creative partner like Netflix,” said Jean-Michel Detoc, Chief Mobile Officer at Ubisoft. “I’m confident this partnership will provide Netflix members with fantastic opportunities to further explore our worlds and universes on mobile devices.”
