"Watch Dogs: Legion", which was previously leaked in advance, was earlier confirmed by Ubisoft to be officially launched on March 2020, 3, and is expected to be launched on PlayStation 6, Xbox One and Windows PC platforms, which will definitely include a Traditional Chinese version. Ubisoft emphasized that players can play as anyone in Watch Dogs: Legion, and boasted that there are almost no NPC characters in the game.
In Watch Dogs: Legion, every open-world Londoner is meticulously simulated, living their own lives and possessing their own backstory. Players can recruit anyone from a vast and diverse population to join their resistance. From MI5 agents, fierce bare-knuckle fighters, clever hackers, underground street racers, rising football players, to a 70-year-old grandmother feeding pigeons in the park, anyone can join the resistance and become a hero.
Each character has a unique gameplay specialization based on their personal profile. Once they join the resistance, players can choose their class, increase their level, and unlock new abilities and upgrades.
At the same time, players can easily switch between these characters and face the various challenges in the game in the way they want, whether it is through hacking, drones, stealth, melee or combat, lethal or non-lethal means.
In Watch Dogs: Liberty Legion, the player's choices have real consequences. If the player uses non-lethal means, the enemy will attempt to subdue and arrest the player, but if the player shoots and kills, their character may be injured or even permanently killed.
Additionally, players can bring their unique team online to team up with their friends in four-player co-op and share their game progress between single-player and online play.
Ubisoft also announced the contents of the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector's Edition of Watch Dogs: Legion:

- The Ultimate Edition includes all the content in the Gold Edition plus ultimate digital content, including VIP status for four weeks to accelerate your XP and in-game currency earnings.
- The Collector's Edition includes all the content of the Ultimate Edition, plus a 1:1 replica of the LED "Ded Crown" mask, a special Steelbook tin, a set of three stickers, and a double-sided promotional poster, all inspired by the Watch Dogs game world. Finally, the mask can be obtained immediately in the game.
- Players who purchase the Gold, Ultimate, or Collector's Edition will receive three days of early access to the game. Pre-ordering Watch Dogs: Legion will also receive the Golden King Pack, which includes the Mask of the Ominous Lie, the Serpent Sisters pistol skin, and the Luxurious vehicle skin.
Ubicollectibles also unveiled a new 26cm figure, "Watch Dogs Legion: Resistant of London," inspired by the world of Watch Dogs. The figure features a DedSec agent in a classic pose and can be equipped with either a Winston head or a "Lord of Hearts" head (two interchangeable heads included). It also comes with a free unique ULC code that unlocks the "Lord of Hearts" mask in the game.
