Uber Eats announced in early July this yearEntering Keelung and Tainan, and improved service efficiency through functional upgrades. After subsequently announcing a partnership with FamilyMart convenience stores to provide store-to-home delivery services, it was announced today (10/7) that it would enter five urban areas including Yunlin, Miaoli, Pingtung, Yilan, and Hualien. It also announced a partnership with c!ty'super to launch a high-end fresh food delivery service, allowing Uber Eats services to connect with more delivery market needs.
Including the five newly added cities, Uber Eats has now entered 5 cities in Taiwan. At the same time, it has also made more people accustomed to the convenient experience of food delivery services for a small price, thereby starting to increase more food delivery business opportunities, and driving sales opportunities for the catering industry in various regions, as well as more job opportunities for food delivery service personnel.
Thanks to the convenience of delivery services, more people are even using Uber Eats to accumulate reviews and verify restaurant quality, thus avoiding disappointing choices. Furthermore, more people are using delivery services to solve the problem of finding a restaurant or waiting for their order, thus saving them time during meals and, incidentally, allowing more people to use this time to complete their tasks sooner.
As Uber Eats celebrates its third anniversary in Taiwan, it has grown from an initial network of over 100 partner restaurants to nearly 9000. It also provides food delivery services in 15 cities across Taiwan, has expanded its partnerships with FamilyMart convenience stores, and has partnered with c!ty'super to launch a high-end fresh food delivery service. The company plans to further expand its food delivery service applications in the future.
For example, the cooperation with city'super is expected to start at the end of October, allowing more consumers to easily purchase more than 10 domestic and foreign fresh and dry goods products through the Uber Eats service. Consumers who do not have time to go to city'super to purchase can also simply purchase daily necessities through the service. At the same time, it is not ruled out that more services will be connected in the future to expand the development of Uber Eats services.
In addition, catering businesses that cooperate with Uber Eats can use the accumulated delivery service data to determine potential customer bases, and then use this as a reference for planning future expansion locations or for future marketing, allowing catering businesses to more easily tap into new customer bases.
In conjunction with the announcement of its expansion in Taiwan, Uber Eats has also announced that from now until October 10st, orders over NT$31 will receive a waived delivery fee by entering the "Try it now, get it now" coupon code. Additionally, Uber Eats is offering a limited-edition Uber Eats VIP card in Taiwan for the first time. From now until November 120th, anyone who participates in the "Discover Taiwanese Local Flavors @Uber Eats" campaign on its official Facebook fan page will have a chance to win a limited-edition Uber Eats VIP card, each worth NT$11 in cash, which can be used to order food on the platform.
