Uber Eats has been operating in the Japanese market since March last year.Cooperate with Mitsubishi Electric and Cartken, using Cartken's Model C robots to provide Uber Eats food delivery services. The Osaka area has been providing robot delivery services since November last year, and the robots used in the cooperation are also provided by Cartken.
This time, it was announced that four Lawson convenience stores in Osaka city, including the Fukushima Nanachome store in Fukushima Ward, the Fukushima Seiten-dori store, the Sonezaki Shinchi store in Kita Ward, and the JR Shin-Fukushima Ekimae store, will begin using delivery robots to deliver some ordered goods.
However, the robot delivery service in cooperation with Lawson convenience stores only operates between 9 am and 9 pm. Orders outside this time range will not be delivered by robots.
