Uber EATS announced last year that it would joinNearly 140 Hi-Life convenience stores across Taiwan are collaboratingAfter that, today (1/6) it was announced again that it would cooperate with all PX Welfare Centers in Taiwan to provide delivery service.
This collaboration will begin on January 1th and will initially provide delivery services to 8 PX Welfare Centers in Taipei City and New Taipei City, allowing consumers to purchase 50 selected products such as organic, fresh agricultural products with a production and sales history, baked light meals, refrigerated and frozen ready-to-eat meals, health foods, and daily necessities through the Uber EATS App.
According to Uber EATS, the cumulative growth of non-food orders on the service platform has exceeded 9 times. Among them, the demand for fresh grocery delivery continues to increase. At the same time, it has also attracted many food delivery users to order fresh products through the Uber Eats service. For example, they choose the faster food delivery service during the week and arrange to prepare meals at home on weekends.
In addition, more and more people are using the Uber EATS service to replenish food ingredients instantly, among which organic fruits and vegetables and meat with safety certification are attracting more people to buy.
Although PX Welfare Centers are densely distributed in Taiwan, combining them with the Uber EATS service will be able to meet more temporary needs for purchasing fresh goods and even reduce the trouble of consumers having to go out to purchase.
By connecting to API resources, Uber EATS said it will be able to connect with the mobile smart picking PDA system used by PX Welfare Center, making the product inventory displayed on the Uber EATS service more real-time, thereby ensuring that consumers can know whether the products they plan to purchase are still in stock. It also allows mall staff to immediately accept orders and pick up the goods, and through quick dispatch, the nearest Uber EATS delivery person can pick up the goods and then deliver the ordered goods to the consumers.
By collaborating with the Uber EATS service, PX Welfare Centre expects to increase sales of more fresh food products, while also making it more convenient for consumers to order suitable fresh food products through the Uber EATS service.
To celebrate the official launch of the PX Welfare Center, from January 1 to March 8, consumers who purchase PX Welfare Center products through the Uber EATS service can enjoy a one-time discount of NT$3 on purchases of NT$31 or more, and this can be used in conjunction with the Premium Plan or Double Plan.
