Moen, which has developed application products for household water data analysis in the past, not only updated its Flo water use analysis system at CES 2020, but also announced the launch of a smart faucet "U" that supports voice control, allowing users to directly operate the faucet water output and adjust the water temperature through the voice assistant.
The appearance of the smart faucet launched this time is no different from that of a normal elbow faucet, and it can also control the water output of the faucet or switch between cold and hot water through a manual switch. However, by integrating digital assistant services such as Google Assistant and Alexa, users can directly operate the faucet by voice control instead of manually operating it.
Especially when preparing various fresh ingredients and don’t want to dirty the faucet, or when you need to use a precise amount of water, you can control the precise water output or water temperature through the digital assistant linkage.
The newly updated Flo water usage analysis system is designed to be linked to additional sensor elements. In addition to continuously collecting statistics on water usage data at home, it can also detect whether there are leaks in the home's water pipes. It can quickly remind users through the app and simultaneously shut down the water system.
Other updates include integrating the smart faucet with the Flo water analysis system using an app and establishing the Moen network service, allowing users to more easily confirm home water usage.
