In addition to testing a feature that allows users to co-write tweets,CoTweetsTwitter has recently begun testing a feature that allows posters to customize their timelines, so that content on specific topics can be sorted according to the timeline, making it easier for interested users to view.
According to Amir Shevat, product director of Twitter's developer platform, this feature will first be tested on specific users. Taking the reality TV dating game show "The Bachelorette" broadcast on ABC in the United States as an example, it will allow specific users in the United States and Canada to continue to follow the show's developments through Twitter for 10 weeks.
Similar to an application, users can also use this feature to continuously track personal topics of interest, such as NFL games or recent news events. Content providers and marketing companies can also use this feature to spread specific topic content faster through Twitter without being overwhelmed or interfered with by other Twitter content.
In this function, the system will integrate the content according to search keywords, topic relevance, and manual planning, and sort it in timeline, allowing users to browse the process of topic events in chronological order.
Today we launched a new custom Timeline experiment – just one of the many things we're working on over at @TwitterDev 🚀 There is a lot of potential for the developer community to build features like this in the future, and we are just getting started. Congrats to the team!🌹 pic.twitter.com/sFToIN7a2s
