According toTwitter announced the newsTwitter is also expanding its video advertising strategy to cater to app promotion needs, further attracting users through engaging video content. By promoting app content through video, Twitter expects to triple the click-to-download conversion rate.
The newly added video ads will also be delivered to the most appropriate user's timeline using Twitter analytics and automatically play, attracting attention and leading to downloads. In addition to providing a more detailed introduction to app features, the newly added video ads will also display app ratings, increasing user download intent.
According to Twitter research statistics, approximately 82% of Twitter users are accustomed to watching video content, and more than 90% of video views come from mobile devices. Therefore, introducing a video-based app promotion model is expected to increase the proportion of advertising app content downloads.
However, since this advertising mechanism is mainly targeted at mobile device users, it will not appear on the web version of Twitter service.
