Stuff website reported the newsShenzhen Transsion showed off its "PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold" phone design, which is still in the concept stage. The design of the double-sided inward folding mechanism seems to be similar to the rumored SamsungGalaxy G Fold, a triple-screen folding phoneCompetitive market.

However, this phone is still in the conceptual stage, but Transsion plans to further disclose the design details of this phone in mid-July this year.
Compared with the common book-shaped, left-right folding, upright, up-and-down folding, and Z-shaped folding designs in the current market, the double inward folding structure on the left and right sides may be the design adopted by the new foldable screen mobile phones that the market will welcome next.
The "double inward folding" method adopted by PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold requires the right screen to be folded inward first, and then the left screen is folded inward to cover, so that the two screens can be completely overlapped. The outer layer is equipped with another sub-screen, which is convenient for users to check notification messages when the phone is folded, or use it as a normal phone.
This phone is expected to be launched under the PHANTOM brand. The main camera will use a horizontally arranged three-lens module and will be available in gold and blue styles, but the specific design may change later.
Samsung is also expected to unveil its long-rumored "Galaxy G Fold" three-screen folding phone. However, in order to ensure the market sales performance of Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, the "Galaxy G Fold" may actually enter the market before the end of this year and may not be available for sale too soon. If Transsion takes the lead in launching the "PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold", it may snatch away some users in the three-screen folding phone market.
