Seagate announced its partnership with Microsoft to launch two external storage devices, Starfield Special Edition Game Drive and Game Hub for Xbox, based on Bethesda's game "Starfield". These devices will provide additional storage space for Xbox game consoles while also matching their appearance.
The design of the Starfield Special Edition Game Drive and Game Hub for Xbox is inspired by the star cluster in the game "Starfield", and can customize the RGB lighting display effects. It is connected and powered by USB 3.2 Gen 1 to the Xbox game console.
Among them, the Starfield Special Edition Game Drive will provide 2TB or 5TB storage capacity, while the Game Hub for Xbox provides 8TB storage capacity. USB-C and USB-A ports are provided on the front to facilitate users to connect peripheral accessories, and support vertical or horizontal placement.
Both external storage devices come with three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services and a three-year limited warranty. They are now available in designated distribution channels in Taiwan. The Starfield Special Edition Game Drive has a suggested retail price of NT$3190 or NT$4790, while the Game Hub for Xbox has a suggested retail price of NT$7090.
