After previously launching the Styler steam electronic wardrobe, LG announced the launch of a smart shoe cabinet called Styler ShoeCare during IFA 2022. It not only allows users to store their collection of limited edition sneakers and designer shoes, but also has moisture-proof and steam cleaning functions, and it itself supports ThinQ network control functions.
LG said that since millennials and Generation Z are keen on collecting shoes, including limited edition sneakers, designer collaborations, or brand-name shoes, how to prevent these shoes from getting damp or keep them clean after wearing and using has become a considerable challenge.
The newly launched Styler ShoeCare smart shoe cabinet has a built-in steam cleaning function called TrueSteam. Through multiple sets of movable nozzles, it releases finer steam using Moving Nozzle technology to clean the surface of shoes. Subsequently, the Zeo-Dry function can be used to keep the shoes dry to prevent them from getting damp, moldy or damaged.
The Styler ShoeCare smart shoe cabinet can also be controlled online through the ThinQ app, allowing users to adjust 10 cleaning methods and verify that shoes are clean and dry. The cleaning process takes approximately 37 minutes, and LG emphasizes that the operating noise level is approximately 35 dB, roughly equivalent to the level of everyday noise.
In addition, LG has also launched a shoe cabinet called Styler ShoeCase, which is advertised as being designed to reduce space and effectively block moisture and ultraviolet rays. It itself features a transparent panel design, allowing users to easily display shoes or more conveniently identify shoes. The shoe cabinet can even be turned and stacked as needed, and it can also be remotely monitored through the ThinQ app.
