The newly launched Xiaomi 15T series not only boasts breakthrough imaging specifications but also introduces "off-network communication" functionality and the latest HyperOS 3 operating system upgrade for the first time. Furthermore, it integrates Google and NXP technologies, allowing users to access iPASS directly through Google Wallet.
In terms of imaging performance, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a 5000-megapixel Leica Summilux main lens. It is also the first time in the Xiaomi T series to introduce a 5x periscope telephoto lens, which can cover the full focal length of 15mm to 230mm, supports 5x optical zoom and 10x optical zoom, and also supports macro shooting. When the zoom exceeds 20x, Ultra Zoom 2.0 can be activated to enhance details and depth of field performance.
The Mi 15T series incorporates the Mi AISP 2.0 computational photography platform and adds creative effects like "Master Portrait Mode," "Widescreen," and "Bubble Depth of Field," allowing for both professional photography and casual everyday capture. For video recording, the Mi 15T Pro supports 4K 120fps and 10-bit Log, providing professional creators with greater post-production flexibility.
In addition to imaging, the Xiaomi Star Communication System, debuting this time, provides "network-free communication" capabilities, allowing phones to maintain point-to-point connections without relying on cell towers or Wi-Fi. Officially, the Xiaomi 15T Pro boasts a voice call range of up to 1.9 kilometers in open air, while the Xiaomi 15T boasts up to 1.3 kilometers, making it particularly useful for outdoor adventures or emergencies. The Xiaomi Surge T1S signal booster chip further enhances Wi-Fi, GPS, and mobile network stability.
In terms of performance and battery life, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, while the Xiaomi 15T uses the Dimensity 8400-Ultra. Both models are equipped with a large-capacity 5500mAh battery and support high-speed charging. The Xiaomi 15T Pro also supports 90W HyperCharge wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging, while the Xiaomi 15T only supports 67W HyperCharge wired fast charging.
As for software, the all-new HyperOS 3 operating system will debut with the Xiaomi Mi 15T, bringing advancements in design aesthetics, connectivity, and AI capabilities. The newly added "HyperIsland" interactive notification system allows for more intuitive presentation of incoming calls and reminders, supports cross-device file, notification, and app synchronization, and supports cross-operation transfer with iOS devices, enabling smoother multi-device collaboration.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi 15T series continues its minimalist aesthetic, with a high-strength aluminum alloy frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i tempered glass, supporting IP68 dust and water resistance. Both phones are equipped with a 6.83-inch immersive large screen with a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. The Xiaomi 15T Pro model even supports a frame refresh rate of up to 144Hz, providing a flagship audio and video experience.
At the same event, Xiaomi also announced the simultaneous opening of five new Mi Stores across Taiwan, including Miramar in Dazhi, Honghui Plaza in Xinzhuang, and Xiaobeimen in Tainan, further deepening its market presence in Taiwan and promoting new product sales with a "upgrade without price increase" strategy.
