It was recently announced that it will be introduced to the Taiwanese market in the summerXbox Design Lab Wireless Controller Customization ServiceEarlier, Microsoft announced that players can now customize their wireless controllers through the official website, and the price of customized wireless controllers will start from NT$1990.
The Xbox Design Lab wireless controller customization service, previously offered in the US market, primarily allows players to create their own unique wireless controller through customized design. The front and back of the controller, along with the analog sticks, buttons, directional keys, triggers, and grips, can all be customized with a variety of color combinations. Laser engraving services are also available, allowing players to engrave their personal name, gamer tag, or other meaningful text on the wireless controller.
The wireless controllers currently available are the same as the corresponding versions for Xbox Series X|S, which can be used for Xbox game consoles, Windows PCs, and Android and iOS platform devices, and support various game content operations.
In addition to launching the Xbox Design Lab wireless controller customization service, Microsoft also announced the launch of a special style in Taiwan with a design featuring the interwoven flags of 34 LGBTQIA+ groups, as well as a playful and cute candy-colored design inspired by "Fall Guys", or designs inspired by "Crusader Kings III" and "Destiny 3". These exclusive designs are also open to players for customization and adding their own personal style.
Wireless controllers purchased through the Xbox Design Lab wireless controller customization service will be sold at a starting price of NT$1990. Players can complete the design and payment through the website, and then enter the designated address for receiving the wireless controller on the website. The shipping fee will be paid by Microsoft.
