Apple added features to Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2Pinch gestureIt is expected to be available in the test version released as early as next week, and will be officially enabled in watchOS 10.1 and later versions.
Since the pinch gesture uses the neural network engine of the S9 SIP processor for calculation and recognition, it is currently only available on Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Older Apple Watch models will not be able to use this feature.
As for the pinch gesture, users can use the index finger and thumb of the hand wearing the Apple Watch to quickly pinch twice to correspond to specific functions of the app, such as answering or hanging up a call, and executing the shutter function on the camera. It mainly allows users to quickly complete specific function operations with one hand.
At the same time, the new neural network engine design used in the S9 SIP processor further enhances the computing power of the Apple Watch Series 9 device, allowing Siri to wake up the Siri digital assistant service even when there is no network connection or when it is connected to an iPhone, and to operate health-related functions through Siri voice control (currently only English and Chinese are supported, and more language interactions will be added later).
Apple has now opened sales for the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. It has also created new Apple Watch straps using the more environmentally friendly FineWoven material. It has also collaborated with Hermès and Nike, with whom it has long-term collaborations on special watch models, to design straps using environmentally friendly materials.
