Remember Trump Mobile, the company that championed "America First" and claimed to challenge tech giants? They had originally announced plans to launch...Trump T1 phoneThere may be significant changes.
The T1 smartphone has not yet officially shipped, but according to The Verge website...ReportIt is claimed that the development of this phone is still underway. However, this may not be good news for fans who are looking forward to a phone with "pure American blood," because the T1 not only has a changed appearance and the price may double, but even the originally proud "Made in the USA" promise has been reduced.

"Made in the USA" becomes "Assembled in Miami"
Trump Mobile initially touted the T1 in its press release as "Proudly designed and built in the United States." However, in the latest official website description, this slogan has quietly changed."Behind every device is the hand of an American." (with American hands behind every device).
In an interview, company executives Don Hendrickson and Eric Thomas confirmed that the T1 phone will no longer be "entirely made in the USA," but will instead undergo "final assembly" in Miami. This means that major components will likely still come from overseas supply chains, with final assembly only taking place in the United States.
The early bird price is $499, but it may rise to $999 if you buy later.
Besides the controversy over the country of origin, there has also been a significant change in pricing strategy. The official guarantee is that early bird customers who have already paid a $100 deposit can still purchase the T1 at a "promotional price" of $499 (approximately NT$1.6).
However, for consumers who have not yet pre-ordered, the price of the T1 may soar to $999 (approximately NT$3.2), placing it in the same price range as the iPhone Pro series or Samsung Galaxy S series flagship phones.
The camera design has been drastically changed, and it's been criticized as "uglier."
In terms of appearance design, the T1 also differs from the initially released renders. The original design was thought to be similar to the camera arrangement of the iPhone, but according to the latest screenshots obtained by The Verge, the T1's rear camera module has been changed to a "misaligned vertical stack" design, which looks less aesthetically pleasing than the original.
The T1 still does not have a definite release date; the official website only vaguely states that it will be released "later this year."
