Taki Udon, founder of Retro Remake, earlier announced the launch of the SuperStation one, a game console designed with the appearance of PSone and built with FPGA architecture. It is claimed that it can not only play PlayStation games, but also Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and SEGA Saturn platform games.
SuperStation one is available in three colors: gray, black and translucent blue. It supports traditional VGA analog output, AV terminal output, component terminal output, and HDMI output. The sound part also supports optical fiber output, or connecting headphones through the 3.5mm headphone jack. The controller can be connected via USB-A.
In addition, Retro Remake also launched a SuperDock expansion base, which provides an additional 4 sets of USB-A ports and can also read previous game discs through the optical drive. The built-in storage capacity is 64GB, and it also supports expanding storage capacity with M.2 2280 NVMe SSD.
Designed using the MiSTer open-source project based on FPGA architecture, SuperStation One is compatible with PlayStation platform games, and also supports games for Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and SEGA Saturn platforms, regardless of regional version restrictions.
SuperStation one will be sold at a price of US$179.99 and is expected to be officially launched before the fourth quarter of this year. As for the founding edition sold at US$149.99, it is currently sold out.
