The Taipei Computer Association has announced the lineup for the upcoming Summer Game Show (SGS), which will be held at the Taipei Yuanshan Flora Expo Center from July 14th to 16th. The event will feature a unique MEGA stage and an original stage, along with exciting competitions, player meet-and-greets, gaming experiences, and live streamer interactions.
This event will feature KRAFTON's renowned battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the newly launched real-time strategy tower defense game Guardian Derby, and the iconic online role-playing game Black Desert Online. SEGA Taiwan will showcase Dragon Ball Heroes, a collectible card game based on the popular Dragon Ball franchise, and popular games such as Arknights, Cloud Atlas, and Girls' Frontline. Bandai Namco Entertainment will offer new game trials and exciting stage performances on site. The exhibits cover large-scale game consoles, home consoles, PCs, mobile games, and more.
This summer's e-sports expo will feature both a MEGA stage and an original stage. On the first day of the MEGA stage, J Team esports team players, as well as live streamers Chigui Uncle and Dada, will be present to interact with players. There will also be the YouTuber Cup gaming tournament hosted by OTK Double Helix Agents, featuring multiple KOLs competing on stage.
In addition, the co-branded shoes launched by the well-known fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger and the well-known fighting video game "Street Fighter 6" will also bring special events on site.
The original stage invites Black Box Theater and several VTubers from the Taiwanese virtual idol group NKshoujo to perform on stage for the first time at a physical event. In addition, many independent game teams, board game studios, and companies participating in the "Independent Game Zone" and "Summer Board Game Paradise" will bring "Star Leap Story", "Machine Debate Consciousness", "Giant Soul Hunting Festival" and other games to the stage, showcasing the game experience and interaction. Players who participate in the challenge will have the opportunity to take home game peripherals, serial numbers and other gifts.
Pre-purchase tickets for the Summer Electronics Expo are now available through Klook. Tickets are NT$150 at the door, but pre-purchase tickets are just NT$100, and a group of two will only cost NT$180. Pre-purchased tickets also offer daily prizes and participation in on-site lucky draws.
