The Q2023 e-tron, which debuted at the 6 International Motor Show in Germany and is positioned as a mid-size SUV in the Audi e-tron series, officially announced its suggested retail price in the Taiwan market today (3/28). The top-of-the-line SQ6 e-tron will be sold at NT$369 million, the sports version Q6 e-tron quattro S line will be sold at NT$315 million, and the standard Q6 e-tron has a suggested retail price of NT$265 million.
The Q6 e-tron is Audi's first all-electric SUV built on the new electric platform PPE (Premium Platform Electric), and is the first to be equipped with the new E3 1.2 electronic architecture. It also adopts a new digital cabin design and smart connection interface. It also claims to have further improved the charging system, charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. It also claims that it can charge enough power for 10 kilometers in just 255 minutes, emphasizing that it can drive directly from Taipei to Chiayi, or directly from Taichung to Kenting.
At the same time, Audi places greater emphasis on establishing a complete charging lifestyle in the Taiwanese market. It has partnered with numerous Taiwanese charging technology companies to allow users to recharge at over 500 charging stations in Taiwan. This allows users to not only have enough power to drive to their destination, but also to recharge smoothly at their destination. They can even easily recharge at home through convenient home charging systems.
The models introduced to the Taiwanese market are equipped with Matrix LED Aurora headlights that provide 8 sets of light pattern design changes, OLED taillights with digital light pattern changes, and a Digital Key for sporty sound control. The driver's seat is equipped with an 11.9-inch OLED digital instrument panel and a 14.5-inch OLED central touch screen. The passenger seat is equipped with a 10.9-inch LCD anti-peep touch screen. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a warning protection system, a departure safety warning system, and a 360-degree surround view assistance system in the front, rear, and sides.
Other features include dual front electric seat adjustment, dual front and rear seat heating and steering wheel heating, three-zone air conditioning, original 3D navigation system, Audi voice assistant that can communicate and interact in natural language, wireless mobile phone charging and front and rear USB sockets.
As for the differences between the Q6 e-tron series models, they mainly lie in the output horsepower, maximum driving range, electric drive motor specifications, wheel size, and interior and audio system design. Others include interface interactions such as interior ambient lighting, head-up display, seat massage function, etc.
The Q6 e-tron features rear-wheel drive and a maximum horsepower of 252, while the Q6 e-tron quattro S-Line sports model utilizes the quattro intelligent all-wheel drive system, delivering a maximum output of 387 horsepower. Both models come standard with the S Sport suspension. The SQ6 e-tron not only features the quattro intelligent all-wheel drive system but also features the S model's exclusive air suspension. It boasts a maximum horsepower of 489 and a maximum torque of 59.1 kgm, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.4 seconds.
Audi states that the Q6 e-tron series is designed with people at its core, emphasizing the extended in-car and driving experience through the unique characteristics of electric vehicles. Based on the all-new PPE electric platform design and 800V battery architecture, the Q6 e-tron is equipped with either an 83kWh or 100kWh battery pack, using the CCS 2 charging standard, supporting fast charging speeds of up to 225 or 270 kW, respectively, for a range of up to 625 kilometers.
