Google recently released an official teaser video, officially confirming the existence of its new mid-range phone, the Pixel 10a, and announcing that pre-orders will open on February 18th. Although official specifications have not yet been released, the blue model shown in the video appears to be almost indistinguishable from its predecessor, the Pixel 9a, and is touted as the most durable Pixel A-series phone to date.
Does the exterior design remain the same as the previous generation?
In the short video released by Google, the Pixel 10a dances against a colorful background, showcasing a blue color option. Visually, the design language of this generation doesn't seem to have changed much, basically continuing the consistent style of the Pixel series, and even being very similar to the Pixel 9a.
However, Google also included an intriguing tagline in the video: "A phone with more in store, in store soon." This seems to be an assurance to Pixel fans that although the appearance remains unchanged, there will be a "substantial" upgrade inside, which is expected to be the inclusion of many AI application features from the Pixel 10.
Rumored specifications: Upgraded battery capacity is a highlight.
Although Google is keeping the specifications a closely guarded secret, current online leaks suggest that the Pixel 10a's hardware configuration may involve "minor upgrades":
• screen:It is expected to feature a 6.285-inch display screen.
• camera:It maintains a dual-lens configuration, including a 4800-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
• Battery:It may be upgraded to 5100mAh, which is perhaps the most noticeable change in terms of hardware.
Consumers can now register through the Google Pixel website to get more latest information, and the Taiwan website has also opened subscriptions through the Google Store. Those who complete the registration before 3:59 pm (Taiwan Standard Time) on February 13 will receive exclusive offers that can be used when purchasing the Pixel 10a.
