Xiaomi's flagship product line is positioned as a "next-generation performance flagship".Redmi Turbo seriesToday (January 29th), Redmi officially launched the new Redmi Turbo 5 series in the Chinese market. Continuing the positioning of its predecessor to "break the ceiling of mid-range performance", this time it not only replaces the processor with MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra, but also adds the Redmi Turbo 5 Max version for the first time, which focuses on a super large battery capacity, attempting to build an insurmountable high cost-performance wall in the RMB 2000 price range (about NT$8800).
Redmi Turbo 5: Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, 1.5K screen
As the standard version of the series, the Redmi Turbo 5 is equipped with the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, which is more than enough for high-load games such as Genshin Impact or Honkai Impact 3rd.
In terms of battery life, the Redmi Turbo 5 is equipped with a 7560mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery and supports 100W Xiaomi Surge Charge. The imaging system maintains a practical focus, featuring a 5000MP wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX882 sensor (supporting OIS optical image stabilization), and an 800MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Redmi Turbo 5 has a suggested retail price starting at RMB 1999 (approximately NT$8800).
Redmi Turbo 5 Max: A 7000mAh behemoth arrives
The most anticipated new member this time, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, is "big" as its name suggests. The processor has been changed to the Dimensity 9500s, the screen has been enlarged to 6.8 inches, and an amazing 9000mAh super-large capacity Jinshajiang battery has been packed in. It also supports 100W fast charging technology.
To accommodate such a large battery, the Turbo 5 Max's body thickness increased slightly to 8.4mm, but the weight was kept to around 215 grams. This model is clearly targeted at heavy gamers and users who need long battery life, such as delivery drivers and business users.
The suggested retail price for the Redmi Turbo 5 Max starts at RMB 2199 (approximately NT$9700).
Tablets, headphones, and smart home appliances debut simultaneously.
In addition to smartphones, Redmi has also updated its tablet and wearable product lines this time:

• REDMI Buds 8 Pro:It supports 52dB deep-sea noise reduction and LHDC 6.0 high-resolution audio technology, with a single-charge battery life of up to 10 hours. The suggested retail price is RMB 399.
