Microsoft earlier released Build 22635.4950 to users who joined the Windows Insider Program.Windows 11 test version update, which includes a new version of the "Start" menu interface and a readjusted file sharing function.
While the new Start menu interface remains the same as before, the main difference is the way apps are arranged. This includes a change from the original alphabetical ordering to a new way of grouping apps by type, similar to how apps are grouped on mobile phones.
The latter usage mode will be closer to the current mobile phone usage experience, making it easier for users to quickly select the required apps through categories. However, the current test version does not allow users to create new grouping types by themselves, and customization may be provided in the official version in the future.
In addition, Microsoft also revealed that it will continue to adjust the "Start" menu interface, and may add a sidebar that makes it easier to view real-time push information and other content. It will also speed up the user's use of linked operations through Android phones.
This update also adds the function of sharing file contents by dragging. When the user clicks, long presses the file to be shared, and drags it to the block at the top of the screen, a menu interface will pop up at the top of the screen, allowing the user to choose to share through "My Phone" or other suitable apps. Users can also choose other suitable apps to share files through the "More" option.
