In addition to launching the new MacBook Pro, Apple also launched the new 24-inch iMac as expected by the market, and upgraded it to the M3 series processor, but the appearance has not been adjusted, and it still offers blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange and purple color options.

Compared to the MacBook Pro, which has different processor specifications, the new iMac all use the M3 processor design. Only the entry-level model offers an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU processor specification, while the advanced model offers an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU processor option. The memory capacity is 8GB for all models, and the storage capacity is 256GB and 512GB.
However, if customized options are chosen, it can be equipped with up to 24GB of memory and 2TB of storage capacity.

As for performance, Apple said that the iMac equipped with the M3 processor will have twice the processing performance of the version equipped with the M1 processor, and it will also be 2 times faster than the iMac models equipped with Intel processors. This shows that the new product mainly hopes to attract iMac users who have maintained using Intel processors in the past to upgrade.
In terms of other specifications, the entry-level iMac only features two USB 2-compatible Thunderbolt ports and a standard Magic Keyboard, with color options limited to blue, green, pink, and silver. The higher-end models feature two additional USB 4 ports and an Ethernet port, and are available in blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple.
However, Apple did not update the Smart Keyboard, Smart Trackpad, and Smart Mouse with the new iMac, so the included version or the separately sold version still maintains the Lightning port specification and can be connected and used via a Lightning to USB-C cable.

The new iMac will start at $1299 USD, with pre-orders available now and shipping expected to begin on November 11. Prices in Taiwan will start at NT$7, while education plans will start at NT$44900, with pre-orders expected to open later this year.
