Be the first to shout out in August this yearTaiwan's "Spectrum Triple Crown"Afterwards, Far EasTone Telecommunications announced that the merger base date with Asia Pacific Telecom will be set on December 12 this year. At that time, the merged "New Far EasTone Telecommunications" will have significantly improved service network speed and coverage, and will have three major advantages: "largest total bandwidth", "largest low-frequency continuous bandwidth" and "largest 15G bandwidth". It emphasizes that it will be able to improve network speed and coverage in deep indoor areas, public transportation vehicles and remote rural areas.

The merger of Far EasTone Telecommunications and Asia Pacific Telecom will take place on December 12th, creating Taiwan's "Triple Crown of Spectrum."

Far EasTone Telecommunications General Manager Jing Qi stated that the spectrum resources of Far EasTone and Asia Pacific Telecom are a perfect match, and the synergistic effects of the merger will have the best impact on the industry, consumers, shareholders, and employees, and will also make a substantial contribution to the environment. As Chairman Xu Xudong said, "If we do it, we must do it the best!"

The merged "New Far EasTone" will leverage its nearly 92 million users to expand its economies of scale, offering a more diverse and innovative experience in value-added services. Furthermore, the first phase of network consolidation will integrate both companies' base stations, effectively saving energy and reducing carbon emissions. Upon completion, network coverage (area coverage) will increase by up to XNUMX%. The second phase will focus on core network integration.

Far EasTone Telecommunications stated that after the merger base date, "New Far EasTone" users will gradually feel the improvement in network quality, especially the coverage rate. Far EasTone Telecommunications will also expand the network capacity and make other adjustments to continuously improve Internet speeds.
