• PlayStation 5 Slim / PlayStation 5 Pro Gold Limited Edition console cover, suggested retail price NT$1980

Design inspired by Kintsugi craft
The design of this limited-edition gold console is inspired by the traditional Japanese craft of Kintsugi, which involves repairing broken porcelain with gold and lacquer. Sony says this technique embodies the "beauty of imperfection" and symbolizes the game's protagonist, Atsushi, who rises from adversity.
The core design of the console's exterior revolves around Hokkaido's landmark "Mt. Yotei". PlayStation's special symbols can also be seen on the back cover and the DualSense controller, and the controller's touchpad cleverly incorporates Atsushi's silhouette.
Sucker Punch Creative Director Jason Connell emphasized that the appearance design is not just a stacking of visual elements, but draws inspiration from the gaming experience, including Atsushi's handwriting on the map, the texture of the kintsugi on the Oni mask, and even the brushstrokes of ink painting, all of which are transformed into part of the hardware appearance design.
Players who already have a PlayStation 5 can also collect it
For players who already own a PlayStation 5 Slim or PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony is also launching a limited edition gold console cover, continuing the same Kintsugi style, allowing existing players to experience the unique atmosphere of "Ghost of Yoteiyama".
At the same time, the limited edition DualSense controller is also sold separately to meet the needs of fans who want to collect game peripherals but have no plans to change their consoles.
The dual resonance between game and hardware design
From the actual gameplay showcase at State of Play to the limited edition hardware design, Ghost of Yoteiyama showcases the holistic experience Sony and Sucker Punch hope to deliver: not only a grand exploration of the game world, but also an integrated aesthetic that spans digital content and physical products.
Sony hopes that these limited edition designs will allow players to continue to experience the unique cultural atmosphere of "Ghost of Yotei" outside of the game and continue the spirit of the game through hardware collections.
