Apple officially opens sales today (9/20)iPhone 16 series models, and also open Apple Watch Series 10 and titanium black Apple Watch Ultra 2. Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile and Far EasTone Telecommunications also simultaneously open the sale of new phones with matching financing plans.

Although market analysts believe that the pre-order response for Apple's new iPhone 16 series is not good, the Taiwanese market is clearly still quite enthusiastic about pre-orders, especially in telecom channels, where high-capacity models are quickly out of stock. Many consumers also choose to port their phone numbers to different telecoms to purchase new phones at higher discounts.

In addition to some loyal users who change their phones almost every year, telecom operators also expect that most users who change their phones will be using models from 2-3 years ago, including users of iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and even earlier iPhone 12 series models. They may all upgrade to the iPhone 16 series models launched this time.
As for the color, many consumers choose the Lake Green, Ocean Blue or Pink models of iPhone 16, while most of the iPhone 16 Pro models choose the newly launched Desert Titanium. Many pre-order models are high-capacity specifications, indicating that more consumers will choose 512GB or 1TB storage capacity models because they take photos and videos more frequently, or download multiple apps and game content in their daily lives.

This year's updated iPhone 16 also offers the standard 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Plus versions, while the Pro models include iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Thanks to the narrower bezel design, the screens have been increased to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. The overall protection capability is claimed to have increased by 50%. The screens also support a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, and the dimmest can be presented at 1 nit brightness. All specifications also support Wi-Fi 7 wireless networking specifications and use Bluetooth 5.3 specifications. In addition, additional backup power is provided for fast cards to ensure that digital card functions such as transportation cards set as fast cards can still be used even if the battery is completely out of power.

The models launched this time are all equipped with dynamic islands, action buttons that can be set to perform different functions, and newly added camera control buttons. At the same time, all models in the series are equipped with 8GB of memory to support the "Apple Intelligence" service.
According to Apple, the "Apple Intelligence" service is expected to be available in localized English interfaces in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom by the end of this year. Apple also plans to launch localized English interfaces in India and Singapore in 2025, and has confirmed that Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish will be added. Earlier, it was confirmed that German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Vietnamese will also be added, indicating that the "Apple Intelligence" service will be available in more regions.
